Silent Install Helper. Silent Install Helper is a program that allows you to automate the installation process of your applications. The program defines the type of installer and it has support for Inno Setup, Smart Installer, Wise installer, Nullsoft NSIS installer, RAR SFX, ZIP SFX, Microsoft Installer and Ghost Install Wizard. /S only does a partial silent install, it still prompts for 'user information'. Edit: Winamp 5.621 is still the latest build and its encoder version is 03.02.02. (at least in my installer, downloaded July 14) Winamp 5.622 with FhG AAC 3.2.3 just got released moments ago. Last Edit: 2011-10-26 14:49:06 by benski. /S - runs the installer silently whch will assume a default full install including location (see below) of where it's installed, etc /D= - sets the default installation directory and this must be the last parameter used in the command-line and must not contain any quotes, even if the path contains spaces. Only absolute paths are supported.

Version 5.541 was downloaded 18/8/08 and installed successfully using the following installer:
This is a silent installer and uninstaller for Winamp. Note that the /S flag is case-sensitive.
The install switches for Winamp:
- S=start menu icons
- F=file association
- Q=quicklaunch icon
- D=desktop icon
- R=fake registration
- A=run winamp agent/set default
Some switches are broken on new versions of Winamp.
